Square¶
The Kaiterra Square is a recessed commercial indoor air quality monitor.

Configuration¶
To access the configuration page of the monitor, follow the steps below:
Power up the monitor
Remove the front panel
Use a sharp pin to press and hold the button inside the “ON/OFF” pinhole for 10 seconds, until the red indicator light flashes on
Open the “Kaiterra Configuration Tool” (download here) on a Windows / Mac OS / Linux computer
Connect your computer to the wireless hotspot created by Kaiterra Square; its SSID (network name) should start with “Kaiterra-SQ-100”
The “Kaiterra Configuration Tool” will detect the monitor and automatically enter its configuration page
You may now set up the monitor on the configuration page according to the following instructions:
To gather the information required for adding the monitor to the gams platform, see Monitor Information
To connect the monitor to a WiFi network, see WiFi Setup
To configure the monitor to send data directly to the gams platform, see MQTT Setup
When you finish configuring the monitor, make sure that Sleep mode
is OFF or unchecked and click on
Configure Device
at the bottom of the window.

WiFi Setup¶
On the “Kaiterra Configuration Tool”, click the

of the wireless network you wish to connect the monitor toFor the

option:If the WiFi network does not require a password, select None
If the WiFi network requires a password, select the corresponding security protocol (the most common one is WPA/WPA2-PSK), and enter the

MQTT Setup¶
On the “Kaiterra Configuration Tool”, click the
Device
tab at the top leftScroll down the page to find the
MQTT
