The DST air sns DUCT-M is a commercial in-duct air quality monitor.

Configuration

To access the configuration page of the monitor, follow the steps below:

  1. Power up the monitor

  2. Press and hold the “Configuration” button for at least 8 seconds

  1. Connect a computer or a smart phone to the wireless hotspot created by the monitor; its SSID (network name) should start with DUCT or MXCHIP

  2. On the web browser of your device, type 10.10.10.1 or 10.10.10.1/index.html in the address bar and enter

    • Username: admin

    • Password: admin

You may now set up the monitor on the configuration page according to the following instructions:

  • To gather the information required for adding the monitor to the gams platform, see Monitor Information

  • To connect the monitor to a WiFi network, see WiFi Setup

  • To configure the monitor to send data directly to gams platform through TCP, see TCP Setup

  • To configure the monitor to send data directly to gams platform through MQTT, see MQTT Setup

Do not opt to reboot the monitor after you save each change. Only after you’ve done all the configuration needed:

  1. Click Module Management on the left sidebar menu

  2. Under the Module Reboot section, click on OK

Monitor Information

  1. Click Module Management on the left sidebar menu

  2. Under the Version Information section:

    • Its UUID is on the Device SN line

WiFi Setup

  1. Click on Wifi Mode Select on the left sidebar menu

  2. Select AP and Station and click on save

  3. Click on Station Mode Setting on the left sidebar menu

  4. Under the Station Parameter Setting section, click on scan to select the wireless network you wish to connect the monitor to or manually enter the SSID

  5. For Encryption Mode:

    • If the WiFi network does not require a password, select Disable and click on save

    • If the WiFi network requires a password, select Enable, enter the Password and click on save

TCP Setup

  1. Under section Uart Parameter Setting, change Baud Rate to

    • 9600 for normal DUCT

    • 115200 for DUCT with O3

  2. Click on Network Setting on the left sidebar menu

  3. Under section Network Connection Setting, change the following options:

    • Protocol: TCP Client

    • Remote Port: 8104

    • Server Address: bridge.measureofquality.com

MQTT Setup

  1. Click on Uart Setting on the left sidebar menu

  2. Under section Uart Parameter Setting, change Baud Rate to

    • 9600 for normal DUCT

    • 115200 for DUCT with O3

  3. Click on Network Setting on the left sidebar menu

  4. Under the Cloud Setting section, change the following options:

    • Cloud Host: bridge.measureofquality.com

    • Cloud Port: 1883

    • Cloud Topic: dst/airsns/duct
